In order to keep bathroom areas clean, a special schedule will need to be followed. When you don't want to feel stressed about the look and feel of your washrooms, then you should come up with a simple cleaning plan. Some washrooms are used for guests who need to wash there hands, while others are for bathing and grooming, both rooms still need to be cleaned just as often to keep them sanitary and healthy. A clean home will pride itself on the look and tidiness of a washroom.

When you are cleaning a washroom on a consistent basis, it might be handy to make up a box of useful supplies and materials. This box might have some important things in it, that you will use each time your washroom is cleaned. It could have; mops, brooms and a garbage bag, mirror cleaner, toilet bowl agent, sprays and brushes. A mop and broom that is used only for the washroom can accompany the kit, to stay close for the person cleaning it.

The first thing you might want to do, is fill up the tub area with a cleaning agent and hot soapy water. When the tub is almost full, you might turn off the water and let the tub soak. While the tub is soaking, you then can pour some toilet bowl cleaner into the toilet and let it sit in there for about ten minutes. There are other things you could clean while your waiting for these areas to properly soak.

Remove objects from the counter space before you wipe down the common area. That is because you do not want to get spray onto things like toothbrushes, and it is a good time to have things put into their places and put away. The mirrors, faucet and counter tops can be sprayed and wiped clean. And while you have a cloth in hand, you can check to see that all doors, cupboards and walls are free of marks or dirt.

Before you spray your tiles with a cleaner spray, you should wipe the tub area and tiles with the soapy cleaner that has been soaking. This water will be nice and warm and the perfect temperature for getting off the scum that can accumulate onto tub and tile areas.

The toilet will have best results with a brush that is used by hand. That means that you will need to keep your gloves on as you scrub away at the inside of your toilet bowl. When the inside is done, you can then wipe the top of the toilet seat, under it and around the toilet for a shinny look.

The floors are the last thing to be cleaned in your washroom cleaning schedule. They can be vacuumed or swept and then cleaned with a mop. For an even cleaner feel, you can clean the tiles using your hands and a scrub brush.

A few times during the week, you can just wipe down main areas of the bathroom to keep everything clean for the next person. A full bathroom cleaning might only be done every few days to keep it maintained. When you follow some great tips and cleaning advice, your washroom will look and feel its best.
